Whole Wheat Sesame Seed Bagels
If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me about these bagels, I would have enough to open my own bagel shop ππ₯―
For real though.... these bagels are:
- healthy
- easy to make (simple ingredients)
- freaking delicious
In all honesty, we love them so much at the Fabiano household, that I oftentimes triple OR quadruple the recipe! They freeze really well, so I will leave some out for the week then have them on hand to thaw whenever we run out!

INGREDIENTS
This recipe makes 4 Bagels!
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
Liquid Egg Whites
Sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt to make self-rising flour. Add in Greek Yogurt and mix well until dough is formed. Divide the dough into 4 balls and roll out each ball into a βropeβ. Make each rope into a circle (bagel shape) and pinch the ends together.
Pour egg whites into a bowl. Brush all sides of each bagel with the egg whites or if you want a crispy outer shell, dunk the bagel into the egg wash to completely coat it
Top bagel with sesame seeds or other toppings of choice!
Bake bagels at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes (or until they have a nice baked outer shell). If you wish to brown the tops (I highly recommend) place under the broiler for 2 minutes!
Eat and Enjoy!
