Body Scan Meditation for Deep Relaxation

Relax the mind and body with this five minute body scan practice.

Body scan meditations are a great way to release tension you might not even notice you're holding onto. Body scanning involves acknowledging parts of the body and bodily sensations in a gradual sequence from head to toe. This is one of my all-time favorite practices for alleviating stress and tension.

This mindfulness technique is great for the evening before bed to help you fall asleep, but it can be done anywhere at any time of day. This meditation is appropriate for all skill levels!
